All it takes. Capture indexes your entire screen continuously with minimal CPU and memory use

Silent. Smart.
Always ready.

Three things happen automatically, every day, from the moment you open your Mac.

1

Capture runs in the background

Screen recorded at 1 FPS. Every meeting transcribed with speaker labels. OCR runs on every frame. All indexed locally on your Mac. Nothing uploaded without your permission. You'll never notice it's running.

2

Everything is understood, not just stored

Meetings become searchable transcripts. Slack threads, documents, browser tabs — cross-referenced and understood in context. Ask "what did we decide about the API contract?" and get the exact moment, cited and playable.

3

Your day is surfaced — and improved

Open Capture to see your Digest — every meeting summarised, every action item extracted. Then get proactive recommendations: follow-ups, calendar hygiene, patterns in how you work. Not just memory. Intelligence.

Six ways Capture
gives you your day back

From a meeting-first home screen to proactive life recommendations — every feature is designed around what actually happens at work.

Meeting Digest

Your meetings,
told back to you

Every meeting gets summarised the moment it ends — key decisions, exact quotes, action items, and who said what. Your home screen is a daily briefing. Not a raw transcript dump.

Live transcription with speaker labels during the call
AI narrative that tells the story of your whole day
Action items extracted, attributed, and ready to assign
One-click replay — screen and audio synced to any moment
Meeting brief prepared before your next call, automatically

An assistant that
improves your life

Capture doesn't just record — it learns your patterns, spots your blind spots, and proactively suggests ways to work better. Like having a chief of staff who knows everything you do, all day, every day.

Flags unanswered emails and missing follow-ups from meetings
Notices you're double-booked or heading into back-to-backs with no prep
Spots recurring stress patterns — late nights, skipped breaks, overloaded Fridays
"Your Fridays are 80% meetings. Want to protect some focus time?"
Everything is a suggestion — approve, dismiss, or schedule for later

Ask — ⌘⇧C

One shortcut.
Every answer.

Press ⌘⇧C from anywhere on your Mac. Ask in plain English. Capture searches everything it's ever seen and heard, then cites the exact moment — with a link to jump straight there.

"What did we decide about the API contract?" → jump straight there
"What was the URL Jake shared in Slack?" → exact frame, exact link
"Summarise everything Sarah said about Q2" → cross-meeting synthesis
"What have I committed to this week?" → full summary with sources
What did Sarah say about the Q2 budget?
⌘⇧C
Sarah confirmed the $240k headcount budget during Q2 Planning. Engineering hiring is approved — proceed immediately. Infra spend will be reviewed in Q3 per her note at 11:14 AM.

Your data lives
on your machine

Capture is built around a simple principle: your recordings are yours. Everything lives in a local SQLite database on your Mac. Cloud AI is entirely optional — Ollama and Apple Intelligence run it all on-device.

All recordings stored locally in SQLite — no cloud upload by default
On-device AI via Ollama or Apple Intelligence — no API keys required
Exclude any app, website, or time window from recording instantly
Delete any moment, any day, or all data with one click
Pause recording instantly with a single keyboard shortcut

No cloud
Recordings never leave your device by default
Full AI with Ollama or Apple Intelligence — on-device
Exclude any app, domain, or window from recording
Delete any moment or all data instantly, anytime

Built for people who
can't afford to forget

If your work involves meetings, decisions, and information scattered across a dozen apps — Capture is for you.

Founders & Executives

Ten meetings a day, decisions across every domain. Capture ensures nothing slips — every commitment tracked, every follow-up flagged, every context preserved before it's too late to act.

Product & Engineering

Requirements evolve in conversations. Decisions get buried in Slack threads. Capture gives engineers instant access to the context behind every ticket, spec, and technical decision ever made.

Sales & Client-facing

Walk into every renewal, demo, and negotiation with a full brief — prepared automatically from your entire history with that account. Never scramble for context in front of a client again.

"I used to spend the first 10 minutes of every meeting catching people up on what we decided last time. Capture killed that habit entirely."

Things people ask us

Capture is designed to run unnoticed. Screen capture at 1 FPS with lightweight OCR typically uses under 2% CPU and around 150MB of RAM. AI processing happens asynchronously in the background — you'll never notice it during normal work. Capture frequency is adjustable in settings if performance matters to you.

Not by default. Capture stores everything locally in a SQLite database and runs AI via Ollama or Apple Intelligence on-device. If you choose to use cloud AI providers for higher-quality responses, your queries are sent to those services — but your recordings themselves always stay local. You're always in control.

Absolutely. You can exclude any app, any browser domain, or any time window from recording. Capture never records private browser windows by default. A single keyboard shortcut pauses recording instantly. You can also retroactively delete any moment, any hour, or your entire history at any time.

Recommendations are generated by an AI model with full context of your meetings, commitments, and patterns. Like any AI, they can be wrong — it may flag something already handled, or miss nuance you have. Every recommendation is a suggestion, never an action. You review, approve, or dismiss. Nothing happens without you.

Meeting notetakers only capture what happens inside meetings. Capture captures everything — your screen, all your apps, the Slack message before the meeting, the Notion doc that was open during the call, the email you sent afterwards. The context is the whole picture. That's what makes the AI answers actually useful — and the recommendations actually accurate.
